Celebrating July 4th

Well, I was trying to upload a picture onto here but for some reason it's not working and my computer is about to die. I haven't been very motivated to work on much. I've only been working and sleeping and occasionally eating here and there. By the way, I've lost 20 pounds already!! I've been going to the gym as much as possible. I've also been helping Ross with his paper route because I have to cover his shift on Friday since he will be out of town for the day. Lets hope I can really do it, considering I'll only have 3 hours to deliver all 220 papers. CRAZY! lol!

This weekend I had a lot of fun. My friends Jamie, Jamie (a guy), and Stacey went out to the local bar. We had a blast. I hadn't gone to a bar in god knows how long. I saw a lot of people from high school that I hadn't seen in forever. Jamie, the guy, and I got to catch up since we hadn't really talked in like 2 years ( since I wasn't home last summer). After the bar, we went and hung out on their friends boat. Then with no sleep Jamie, the girl, and I helped Ross with his paper route. A lot of work on a sunday.

Sunday was the day of fireworks for us here in Ktown. We have the people from the City come up and do them so we always have them the week before or the week after. I have only celebrated July 4th on July 4th twice in my life. Sorta weird but sorta normal for me. I decided to call out of work so that I could spend the day with my family. Mimi and Aunt Leslie and the family were coming up to eat dinner. They have had several family get togethers that I have not been able to go to because of work so I wanted to be there. I'm glad I was. We had so much fun. The fireworks were really good too!

Well I better go before my computer dies on me. Hopefully pics will be up soon!

UPDATE

The last few weeks have been crazy and exhausting. Nothing but working and getting paperwork for my new job working at the Children's annex ( a school for autistic children). YEAH, I got the second job I wanted. :)  July 7th I start working full-time there as a lunch aid. I'm really excited about it.

I recently just got a new car which I'm really excited about. I traded in my focus for a '08 escape from enterprise. It's a dark red and has a really nice stereo system. It's a big difference from my '05 focus. We are trying to get my friend into my old car. My dad made a deal for her on the price since she really needs a new car and doesn't have a whole lot of money. So hopefully this coming weekend we can finalize all that.

This weekend Ross, my mom, and I ( mainly I) put together and ran a yard sale. Yesterday we had a lot of people stop by and made a decent profit. Got rid of some big items and such. Today it is raining however and there are not many people stopping by. We didn't have any body until an hour and half after we started. Luckily in that half hour we had three people stop by and got rid of a bunch of clothes. Made about 20 bucks. It looks as though there won't be many others stopping by. So far we haven't made out too bad. Though we are splitting the profit three ways.

Hopefully my next update won't  be so far in between or as blah. Hope everyone is doing well. Love ya

On Another Adventure

Here I am on another adventure. The last for awhile. I'm in Cambridge, MA looking at yet another graduate program. For those who dont know, Cambridge is not far from Boston. The city is huge here with lots to do. The program seems intense but well rounded with lots of oppurtunities for jobs afterwards. To be honest, I'm quiet intimidated by the program and the people here. I have to say that I found the program at Nazerth in Rochester, NY to be more friendly and my style. We shall see what happens in the time to come. Now if I can just find my way out of the city back to the interestate.... I had a hard time finding the right street in order to find the college. So it shall be interesting to see how long it takes me to get back home. I better get going or it will take me forever to get home.

Update

Life is a rollercoaster. There are bumps along the way and sometimes out of the blue there's something you didn't expect and it doesn't sit well with you. Well I guess that's happening right now. Life couln't get any complicated then this I suppose. I wish I could leave details and explain what I'm really talking about but I can't right now. I guess just pray for me and my family would be good.

On another note, I'm back to work at the local grocery store. Long hours standing on my feet answering stupid questions and having petty people argue over a dollar difference on price just to find out that they were looking at the wrong price tag on the shelf. Coming home, my heels hurt as well as my shins and I have numbers constantely running through my head: kiwi 4030, vine tomatoes 4664, bannana's 4011, asparagus 4080, red pepper 4688, etc. Right now at work we are having a contest to see how fast people can go. You must be gentle with the food and accurate. I can really get my game on as long as I'm on a big register. The express lines are always too crazy. I work the 3-11pm shift. It's crazy from about 3-6 then around 7 it starts to settle down. I love when it's about 9 or 10 and the radio is playing a good song. The other night the customers thought I was completely crazy cause here I was, the only one on register and I was dancing as I belted out "GIRLS JUST A WANNA HAVE FUNN!!" ... It was hilarious. I love my job!

I'm still waiting to hear back about my second job working with autistic children. Which I really want to do. If I do get the job though, I'm really nervous cause I have no idea what I would be doing.
