Moving/update

I know its been awhile since ive been on here. I apologize. Back in november i switched jobs within my agency. I work with autistic and mentally challenged adults. There are a lot of changes going on in this agency. Its been kinda of a tough year in reference to my job but ive put hard work into it and gotten through it. Collin and i also really want to get of new york. Our goal is to get to kentucky to have a real relationship and bond with collins daughter Olivia who is now three. We realized that in order to move out of state we needed to save money and that wasn't happening where we are now. Kingston is still in a recession and we can pay our bills but saving money forget it. So we looked at our options and we decided to move into the empty apt over the garage at the house my parents are trying to still sell. So here we are moving day! Ive been moving for the past three weeks; purging, making a sell pile, and spring cleaning. Its exhausting and im ready for it all to be over but its also been very cleansing. We dont plan on stayin there long, a couple of months and then ... Well you will have to stay tuned to find out!

Mashed potatoes in a bag?

So as we are packing to move, more on that later, everything to mash the potatoes are packed up. So i thought well maybe i can make them in a bag. So i made sure my potatoes were really cooked and soft. I poured the water out n then put the potatoes in a larger ziplock bag. I melted butter n added that. I closed the bag and with a towel over the bag began to mash. After a few mins i added some milk and continue to mash. They came out really good. I think i may do this more often!
